Hemmed in by the enigmatic Vindhyan Mountain range in Madhya Pradesh, the Bandhavgarh National Park is a fabulous eco-tourism destination where one encounters different species of birds, animals and vegetation with a promise of unsurpassed adventurous experience. Wildlife Attractions in Bandhavgarh
The abode of awe-inspiring White Tigers of Rewa, Bandhavgarh National Park has the highest density of Tiger populations in India. The number of tigers range between 46 to 52 at present. Other important members of the park include Sloth Bears, Wild Boar, Chital, Nilgai etc. The 250 species of birds belonging to different colors and sizes fill the air with mirth and jollity. Apart from these, the park is also the home to 22 mammals species. Chinkara and chausingha are usually seen in the grassland areas. The thick forests belong to the sambhar, spotted deer and barking deer. The reptile population consist of vipers, pythons and a whole lot more. For any wildlife enthusiast, spotting the two primate species namely the rhesus macaque and the Hanuman langur is simply unparallel.

Bandhavgarh Fort : Drapped in enigma, the Bandhavgarh Fort is more than 2000 years old. Ruled by several dynasties ,the fort is surrounded by picturesqe hills and gentle valleys. A visit to this fort is like turning the pages of history. The air here echoes with the might of important rulers like Baghels, Mauryans and several others.
